Choose from our many unique designs and styles. You can easily have a logo or design applied to any of our existing stock of hats and visors available in our Headsweats collection. We’ve tried to make the process of designing your hat as straightforward as possible by following the 4 easy steps below:
Step 1
Take a look at the styles above and decide which piece of headwear you’d like to see your design on. Almost all of our headwear that we offer can be customized to your specifications. Pick from any of the hats shown here, or just ask us if a hat you’re interested in isn’t listed. Once you’ve decided on a hat style, then decide which method of printing best suits your needs.
Step 2: LOGO TYPES
We have plenty of logo application methods/options available to us and you can choose from any of them to have your hat made to your liking. Now that you’ve decided on a hat style, we have quite a few options for printing your custom hat design that most companies don’t offer. These different printing methods allow us the flexibility to design the ideal hat or visor that you’re looking for and is best suited for your needs.
Print Method
Sublimation: Dye sublimation is a process of printing directly onto the technical fabric which provides a high quality and durable printing option. In sublimation, the inks are fused into the fabric, unlike heat transfers or screen printing which sit on top of the fabric. This process not only gives fabrics a softer touch after printing but is also very durable. The color remains vibrant even after extensive washing, so it is ideal for athletic apparel. It’s almost as if we’re giving the hat a tattoo. This is the same process you’ll see in your Triathlon Kit or Cycling Kits you receive for races. Domestic Sublimation can only be done on light colored fabric as the design’s colors needs to be darker than the fabric.
Embroidery: We can take your logo or design and have it reproduced using our high-quality stitching process, giving it that classic, embroidered look. A lot of our customers have a high expectation with our embroidery process that is customized at the factory overseas. In the factory production process we add an additional piece of fabric that covers up the embroidery threads on the inside, whereas with Domestic embroidery the threads will show through on the inside of a hat or visor.
Heat Transfer: The Heat Transfer process is where your design gets heat pressed onto the fabric. Different from Sublimation, the design lays on top of the fabric, not within it. The advantage to Heat Transferring is that there is no color limit with your designs. Any design colors can sit on any hat color, unlike Sublimation which needs to be on a lighter colored hat. The Heat Transfer doesn’t fade with time; it’s always going to be a vibrant design even as the hat ages. Heat Transfer can’t be used on fleece products, so the winter beanies are exempt from Heat Transfer Printing.
Once you have decided on a Hat Style and Logo Type, you can decide on your options, like where you want the logo placed, if you want contrast stitching, a sandwich bill, colors, side panel, and more.

Some of our options include:
- Embroidery: Front, back, side, bill and 3D.
- Reflective: Sandwich, piping around pony tail hole, and piping on visor crown.
- Embellishments: Contrast stitching, rhinestones, bill sandwich contrast fabric, fabric trim on edge of bill, gummy tab, and snag-free velcro.
- Packaging:Hangtags, woven labels, individual poly-bagging, UPC or ID labels, and care labels.
- Once you complete our online quote form, one of our account managers will be able to discuss with you all the possible customization options available.
After you’ve decided on your hat style, logo type, and some design options, then click on over to the Custom Hat Quote page and fill in your details. Once your form is submitted, one of our account managers will soon get in touch with you to discuss the details of your hat. Your account manager can get specific on your design needs and give you a price quote and timespan for the hats. This is when you’ll send us your logo or images and we can pass them on to one of our in-house designers to get the perfect look for your new hat.
